K12 Schools
The City of Ardmore has two public school districts, Ardmore and Plainview. In addition, it's home to 3 local Private schools. Many graduating seniors go to college, while most of the remaining graduates enter the workforce. Three additional independent school districts- Lone Grove, Dickson, and Springer- are within a 10 minute drive of Ardmore.

Higher Education
Nine colleges and universities are within 1.5 hours driving distance from Ardmore. Within city limits, the University Center of Southern Oklahoma offers local residents a variety of college degrees from four area universities.
Technical Schools
Based in Ardmore, Southern Tech is part of the nation’s premier vocational-technical training system, known as Oklahoma CareerTech. Ardmore is also home to Arbuckle Truck Driving School.
