EJ began Ardmore Operations in September of 2001, after greenfield construction of our state of the art iron foundry in the Ardmore Industrial Airpark. We are the world leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of access solutions for water, sewer, drainage, telecommunications and utility networks worldwide. With ingenuity and craft, EJ has shaped molten iron into products that serve as the infrastructure of neighborhoods, villages and cities. Dollar General
Dollar General is proud to be a fixture in the Ardmore, Oklahoma community since first opening in 1994. With more than 600 employees at its Ardmore Distribution Center, Dollar General continues to promote career and development opportunities in the area.
Noble Research Institute
Lloyd Noble, an Oklahoma oilman, established the Noble Research Institute (originally named The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation) in 1945 to help revitalize agriculture after the Dust Bowl. Today, the Noble Research Institute is the largest independent agricultural research organization in the U.S. The organization employs nearly 400 people from 20-plus countries.
Dot Foods
Dot Foods Oklahoma joined the Ardmore community in February 2005. Dot is the largest food industry redistributor in North America and has 11 locations nationwide. The 174,000-square-foot Oklahoma facility opened with 30 employees and today includes a team of nearly 300 warehouse personnel, truck drivers and administrative staff. It ships 13 million cases of product a year to customers in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma.
Featured Business: Valero Ardmore Refinery
The Valero Ardmore Refinery has been continuously modernized since its purchase by Valero in 2001 and since its construction in 1913 to process heavier, sour crudes while maintaining a high product yield. This has established the refinery as a leader in the production of clean-burning fuels, especially in the Oklahoma region. Employing approximately 290 people, the refinery produces petroleum products including gasoline, kerosene, sulfur, diesel, liquified petroleum gas (LPG), propylene, and butane. In addition, the refinery has more than 2.4 million barrels of product storage.
