Ardmore Development Authority and City of Ardmore Announce Recipients of Inaugural Downtown Loan to Grant Program

ARDMORE, OK — June 17, 2026 — The Ardmore Development Authority and the City of Ardmore are pleased to announce the recipients of the Downtown Loan to Grant Program, a collaborative initiative designed to encourage private investment, business development, and revitalization within Ardmore's historic downtown district.

 Following a competitive application process and review by the Loan to Grant Committee, two projects were selected to receive funding assistance during the program's inaugural funding cycle. A total of $50,000 in grant funding was awarded to projects that demonstrated strong potential to create unique destinations, increase economic activity, and contribute to the continued growth and revitalization of downtown Ardmore. The Loan to Grant Committee, which included representatives from the Ardmore Development Authority, the City of Ardmore, and the Ardmore Main Street Authority, 
evaluated applications based on project readiness, economic impact, investment potential, and alignment with the goals of the program. 


Award Recipients


 Honey and Vine
20 North Washington Street 
Award Amount: $25,000 
Honey and Vine will transform a historic downtown storefront into a wine and dessert bar, creating a unique destination for residents and visitors alike. The project will bring additional evening and weekend activity to downtown Ardmore while preserving and activating a historic commercial building.

Texoma Smash Club
9 West Broadway 
Award Amount: $25,000 
Texoma Smash Club will introduce an indoor golf entertainment venue featuring golf simulators, a restaurant, and a bar. The project includes substantial renovations to an existing commercial structure and is expected to become a regional destination that attracts visitors and supports downtown economic activity. 



Supporting Downtown Investment

The Loan to Grant Program was established through a partnership between the Ardmore Development Authority and the City of Ardmore to encourage private investment and economic development within Ardmore's historic downtown district. Through this program, eligible property owners and business operators may receive assistance with renovation and development costs associated with bringing new businesses and destinations downtown. 
 

The program prioritizes projects that create unique experiences, increase economic activity, rehabilitate existing structures, generate customer traƯic, and contribute to the long-term vitality of downtown Ardmore. By supporting strategic private investment, the Ardmore Development Authority and the City of Ardmore are working together to strengthen downtown as a destination for shopping, dining, entertainment, and community engagement. The Ardmore Main Street Authority played an important role in the inaugural funding cycle by participating on the Loan to Grant Committee and helping evaluate projects that support the vision and character of downtown Ardmore. The Ardmore Development Authority and the City of Ardmore appreciate all applicants who participated in the program and thank the Ardmore Main Street Authority for its partnership in the review process. These investments represent an important step toward creating additional destinations, attracting visitors, supporting local businesses, and enhancing the overall vitality of downtown Ardmore.
