Ardmore, OK – The Ardmore Development Authority (ADA) is pleased to announce the completion of a Tax Increment Financing (TIF) district and the return of excess revenues to community partners who serve Ardmore and Carter County. Funds were distributed to Springer School District, Southern Tech, Carter County, the Carter County Health Department, and the Southern Oklahoma Library System.

  • Springer School District $1,680,330.93
  • Southern Tech $431,361.59
  • Carter County $326,577.39
  • Carter County Health Department $59,959.84
  • Southern Oklahoma Library System $59,959.84

The TIF district, originally established to encourage economic growth and infrastructure improvements, has fulfilled its purpose. With the initial projects completed at the Ardmore Industrial Airpark, the ADA is returning remaining revenues so that they can be reinvested directly into classrooms, workforce training, healthcare, county services, and public resources.

Bill Murphy, President & CEO of the Ardmore Development Authority, emphasized the importance of partnership: “This is a full-circle moment for our community. The TIF helped create opportunities for growth, and now the resources are going back into the very institutions that make Ardmore and Carter County strong. We are deeply grateful to Springer School District, Southern Tech, Carter County, the Carter County Health Department, and the Southern Oklahoma Library System for their partnership and the vital work they do every day to support our citizens.”

By working together, the ADA and its community partners continue to ensure Ardmore remains a place where families thrive, students succeed, and businesses grow.
