Ardmore Development Authority launches new site to attract economic development activity

ADA’s new site will position the city to attract manufacturing and aerospace opportunities

Ardmore, OK – Ardmore Development Authority (ADA), the city’s direct partner for business growth, expansion, and investment, has announced the creation of a new website designed to position the city to attract manufacturing and aerospace investment. Designed in partnership with Golden Shovel Agency, the leading marketing and communications partner exclusively dedicated to economic development, the new site provides a modern, user-friendly gateway to the organization’s essential services, including site selection tools and business attraction resources. 

The new site was developed from the ground up to showcase Ardmore’s strategic location on Interstate 35 between Oklahoma City and Dallas Fort Worth and to highlight the organization’s business attraction efforts, available workforce, and unique development properties, including the Ardmore Industrial Airpark, a former Army Air Force base. 

“Between our highly-accessible location, unique properties and a large, eager workforce, Ardmore has a powerful story to tell, and this website will help us tell it in the way that has the greatest impact on our target audience,” said Bill Murphy, ADA President and CEO. “This site makes it easy to share our success stories, incentives, and business resources alongside information about what it’s like to live and work in Ardmore.” 

The new website features:

• Clean, intuitive navigation for ease of use across computers and mobile devices;
• Easy access to information about incentives, location advantages, and available building sites;
• Updated content and visuals that showcase Ardmore’s lifestyle, amenities, and business-friendly climate; and
• Dedicated resources for businesses, entrepreneurs, and residents.

Golden Shovel Agency worked with ADA staff to understand their unique needs and develop a site that provided tools and resources that will help the organization effectively reach the industries and employers they want to attract.
